Here to help
FloodWise Communities helps cities and towns plan for extreme weather events and impacts on stormwater systems, and tests and improves methods and technologies to engage practitioners. The program is funded by the National Academy of Sciences and has three goals:
Help communities plan for extreme weather events and their impacts to stormwater systems.
Test which technologies, tools, and forms of engagement better help communities use data in local planning processes.
Use what we learn to improve our tools and strategies.
Recorded March 4th, 2021
When we were invited to participate, it was a no-brainer… it’s really going to increase our capacity and has eliminated the amount of time we would otherwise spend on data collection and methodology.CHIEF SUSTAINABILITY AND RESILIENCE OFFICER,
