FloodWise Communities helps cities and towns plan for extreme weather events and impacts on stormwater systems, and tests and improves methods and technologies to engage practitioners. The program is funded by the National Academy of Sciences and has three goals:

Plan
Help communities plan for extreme weather events and their impacts to stormwater systems.

Test
Test which technologies, tools, and forms of engagement better help communities use data in local planning processes.

Improve
Use what we learn to improve our tools and strategies.
